I actually didn't get one because the lady at the shop explained all the details and how prone you are to infection and everything. I opted out.

Every piercing needs attention and can become a pain. Just remember having an infection would be much worse and more painful :)

lol caring for any piercing is a pain in the rear. I've had my ears pierced and it's a lot of upkeep in the first month that you have them. I'm sure that goes for any piercing.

Navals are the worst to care for and one of the easiest to reject. Just give it time and be pacient. They take a good 6 months to solidify to the point you dont need to watch over it all the time.

It really is. The upshot is that after about 2 weeks, you won't have so much work to do.
