Its lies, the issue replaced into on CBS information, and Nightly information with Brian Williams, and not one of the study said/or proved that 8 glasses of water an afternoon enables you shed pounds, or suppress starvation, and make your epidermis a lot less dry, yet another study shows that you'll be able to drink as many glasses of water an afternoon as you want to, your body will inform you once you're thirsty, and then you will be able to drink, 8 glasses,6 glasses or 15 glasses, it relies upon on how a lot someone sweats, or how in a well timed fashion he receives rid of the water, as a results of both the elements, or the actual interest that the fellow is doing.

About 4 years ago I woke up with an agonising pain in my back... a kidney stone... man! it was painful!!!
The nurse at the hospital told be that I should drink at least 2 litres of fluid a day (doesn't have to be water - but fizzy drinks, alcohol and too much coffee should be avoided). Coffee (unless it's de-caff) and alcohol act as diuretics - that means that you pee more water out than you drink - so they are a no-no.
The extra fluid flowing through my kidneys is supposed to stop kidney stones forming - and so far it has done the trick!
And I also feel healthier and have less headaches (which were obviously caused by dehydration). Can't say my skin is softer - it would take a lot more than a few glasses of water to make any difference to my skin!
Stick with it... and those of you who don't drink that much fluid a day... make a start and I bet that in a week you'll feel better for it as well!
[And to the person who reckons you lose electrolytes by drinking water - your kidneys are designed to recover essential electrolytes from the water passing through them before it ends up as pee - you have to drink GALLONS of water to lose electrolytes - there is only one recorded verifiable instance of someone killing themselves by drinking too much water - a lady in Australia with a mental obsession for drinking water.]

That's great that you're doing this.
Drinking enough water keeps your body rehydrated. A good portion of people are dehydrated and don't even realize it. The reason you're not longer bloated is because your body doesn't feel like it has to save up water now. Before you drinking a lot of water, your body treated things like water was a rare supply. So, it started saving it up for later. If you drink enough water, it won't retain it.
Drinking plenty of water also boosts your metabolism. It also flushes out the toxins in your body. I try to drink 100 ounces a day.

Yeah, I bring two big bottles of water to work every day. It makes a big difference, huh? Kinda makes me feel sorry for people who don't like the taste of water.
