i think you need to be more specific if you want good advice. is this for every day hair styles or a special occassion?
UPDATE: since you said for everyday....
twisties
hair clips
french twist
french braid
braids
barrettes...one on each side of your head to pull the sides back OR pulling the top and sides back into one barrette at the top middle of your head
curls
crimped
just be creative and find something that works for you, you find easy, you enjoy and that goes with the occassion(s) of the day

If you have straight hair curl it. Put your hair in an upside-down bun. Or put it in a half ponytail and make the ponytail an upside-down bun. All of these are easy to do in very little time!

have you tried doing a bun (not like a ballerina bun but like the ponytail-folded-in-half kind) and turning it upside-down so that the bottom part of the bun is curved OVER the top half?

try straightning it for and every-day, sleek look. or for a more romantic, and dressier look, use hot rollers or a spiral curling iron for loose curls and waves.
on the go? try either cute low pigtails, with a braid only half way down. or, pull all of your hair to one side and tie at the nape of your neck for a low, side pontail. also, add cute hair ornaments, like clips and headbands to add flair.
if your hair's all one length, you can mix things up by getting face framing layers or side bangs.

You can leave it half up and half hanging and accessorize with it accordingly or long into magazines like Star, US Weekly, and see what hairstyles look the best and choose which one you want and take it to a beauty salon or a hairstylist.

If you get your hair layered it can still be long but then you can scrunch it. A really cute look that doesn't take that much time.
