i would give them the money back so i wouldnt have to owe them a damn thang... and then leave that person alone with they cheap self

It depends. Were YOU supposed to pay for the date but didn't bring enough cash, so the other person ended up paying? Did you ask them out but didn't pay?
If either of those were the scenarios, I'd say you should pay up. But if the other person asked you out or you both mutually agreed to go out, I'd say you should pay your way and at least pay half.
It all depends on how this played out and also what was said at the time.

I would feel like I needed to dump them and I would.- But I wouldn't give back the money.

Say what!?? I would feel that I had just spent time with on the rudest, stingiest, socially maladjusted person I had every met.

I actually had a friend who's boyfriend gave her a bill when their relationship ended!! Who does that, it is absolutely horrible?!
