i messed up on the Pocahontas thing it was actually like john sister or somthing like that she's like an inlaw
if george washington is not related to john smith he could have married someone that was
I agree with you mooselover but it's different when you are dirrectly related (straight line down the family tree)

That is very cool. Truly. It is always cool to be related to someone famous in US history. However I never knew that George Washington was related in any way to Pocahontas or John Smith - so how did that blood-line get combined to be in you? Just wondering...

Awwwwwwwww thats nice dear. Did you ever think EVERYBODY is related in some way. We all know Adam and Eve had children, and it multiplied on and on, for thousands of years. I'm related to Benjemin Bellows. Bellows Falls in New Hampshire/Vermont is named after him. I think that is kind of cool.

that's cool, i'm related to Henry Hudson and Merriwether Lewis (of the Lewis and Clark expedition). one of my relatives also says i'm related to bloody marry, but i think that's just a myth in the family.
