Besides being dumped, which is painful, what would hurt most- if their new fling was uglier or better looking than you?

Uglier! You will say a thousand times...."he left me for her!!!!". In my case, my ex left me for a guy that weighs 300 pounds, long , greasy hair.....nasty looking. If it had been a good-looking guy, I could have understood better.

It's worse when they are uglier because it makes you wonder about yourself. At least if it's someone better looking then you know why they did it. I've been cheated on with uglier and bigger girls and it hurts like hell. I've gotten over it because it says a lot about the other person.

Better looking. After the initial hurt wore off I would just laugh when seeing the "uglier" girl with him around. If I saw him with a better looking girl then it would bother me more.

Uglier is better because then you can make fun of them to make yourself feel better. Also, if you ever run into them, she will undoubtedly see that you are better looking and that is some sweet revenge.

my ex dumped me for uglier and my friends tried cheering me up saying hes stupid for downgrading that i was so much more prettier and should forget him but it was just too hard to get over if she was prettier i wouldnt of been stuck on him still as long as i did but now im over him and happy with my new man

It's never happened, but I think I'd rather be the better-looking of the two. Since to me, sex isn't a normal part of dating, but only a normal part of marriage, I would simply tell myself that he dumped me because the other (not so pretty) girl was "easier". Don't know if it would be true, but that's what I'd want to believe, lol.

Worse is if you get dumped for someone ugly because if they pick someone better looking, you can kind of understand.
