Sounds like your boyfriend is a jerk! If you are a special girl he should WANT to make a commitment to you for the rest of his life. To have children in wedlock, to proudly tell the world "THIS IS MY WIFE!"

Knowing that there is someone with you that loves you so damn much that he would rather put a ring on his finger letting all women in the world know that he is spoken for. Marriage is the ultimate act of love. Marriage is the tradition when soul mates meet. You never get married if you have a question as to why you want to marry. Soul Mates. Partners. 50/50 unconditional down the middle love. hope you get what you want, but remember what the Rolling Stones said, you just might get what you need.

The benefit of getting married is to confess your undying love for eachother in front of friends, family, and god. It is to make a life's commitment to eachother...the benefits never end..you will always have that person to hold you at night, to be your companion, and what is better than being with that one personwho you love more than anything???? After telling him that i would ask him....any other question.....lol

Honey, sorry to tell you this, but even if you manage to come up with a thousand reasons to get married, he still won't marry you. He's a commitment phobic, and you're just not the one to break him. But if you want, tell him that love is the only reason that's needed for marriage.

If you have to "come up with a benefit to get your boyfriend to marry you" , honey, I hate to say this, but you're wasting your time. You shouldn't have to come up with anything for him to want to marry you. He should love you enough to WANT to. I would drop him like a bad habit and consider that to be a benefit to yourself.

If he has to be convinced, then he isn't in love with you.
You want non-monetary benefits? Having an equal partner, having someone who can support you emotionally, having a best friend you live with, having to not worry about how to spend your saturday night.

you got to be kidding. Unless your already living together
Then I guess not a whole lot.
But I want a relationship with stability. Is he ashamed to let others know you are living together?
Cook together and eat together.
Sleep together and watch television together.
Always got a date for the party?
