how did u get punished when u were lil??

I didn't get punished by my parents. They let all of us get away with everything. However, after I realized I'd done something wrong, I would punish myself mentally. I would have preferred the punishment from my parents.

I got the usual punishments: The spankings, the standing in the corner but the worst punishment I ever received was having to watch Shirley Temple movies! After a couple times of that, I got my act together real fast!

I did not get punished because I never did anything wrong or got caught, I take that back I did get a whipping 1 time from my grandfather because I disobeyed him but after that I apologized and he took me shopping.

I have never been lil nor do I know what that means. So, I guess I never got punished for it.

I was spanked, sometimes with a flyswatter on my bare thigh. (I believe spanking is ok, but I believe using the flyswatter on bare skin crossed the line.)
I was also made to stand in a corner (early version of time out) and sent to bed early.

Every which way I was bad. My mom had these flat flip flops she used to call "Chanklas" Man I knew I was in trouble when she took those things off to spank me with one. It got to be the family thing "You want the chankla? No? Okay behave" LOL

I was just not allowed to visit my great-grandmother, since that's where I wouls spend most of my time and she was great with me. However, if she knew my mother didn't let me visit her because I was being punished, she would go get me herself. lol..I always won!

lol, the old fashioned way. if my neighbors caught me, they spanked me, and when I got home my mom spanked me then sent me to my room until my dad got home, and yep he spanked me too. I tell you what though, I was one of the best behaved kids on the block. I didn't care for all that spanking.

my mother made me write a sentence ten thousand times. "I will not ____________" It worked.
