My boyfriend calls me sometimes, but whenever we talk on the phone, it takes us forever just to get into a good conversation. And the we lose it. Some of the conversation is just listening to eachother mumble. What should we talk about?

That would happen to my husband and me at times, and its weird cause the more you think of it, the more it happens...Just relax and ask him how his day was then take it from there...sometimes it'll be ok to just hear each other mumble as long as its his mumbling you hear ...which you love... I'm sure...so relaX!

For years I have been telling pretty much everyone that I do not enjoy phone talk. I get on, I say what has to be said and I get off. It's a waste of time to me. If you want to talk, come over other-wise call your mommy. To me the phone is to pass on or get information......anything important should be discussed in person.

if you guys cant find anything to talk about on the phone that means you guys have not get around to know each other enough yet. just wait it out if it still doesnt work then its probably not the guy for you

There is nothing wrong with not talking on the phone...I personally hate it. when talking with my boyfriend, I tell him stuff he hasn't heard about yet, then I get off the phone.

you should talk of what you have been doing during the week and after you ve talked about that what has been fun and then just go ok i'll let you go now later and thats it.
