Love is not a straighforward thing and therefore difficult to pigeon-hole. Does it matter if it's gay or not? I dont think so.

Absolutely! My brothers love their father, my husband loves his, my husband has a friend or two that he loves. I have a dear friend that I love, I'm not a lesbian. Depends on what you mean by love. Do you mean lust or love. You can love another person of the same sex and not be gay. I don't think you can lust for a person of the same sex and not be gay. Unless it's just a phase, that you have never experienced before, then I would say your a little confused at the moment and you will find you are not gay. I had some physical attraction for someone of the same sex once. It didn't last (meaning the feelings). I was just searching for love in all the wrong places. You will be fine whatever the case.

What is your definition of love? There are different types of love, the love you have for family members, the love you have for friends, and the intimate love within a partner relationship.

You can have some of those loves for another man and not gay, but some would give you gay tendencies. Wether you act on the love is another story.

Yes... there are three basic types of love:
1. Agape: God's unconditional love
2. Philo: brotherly love
3. Eros: erotic or sexual love

If you love another man in the philo sense it is considered a deep & caring relationship, like that of your best friend or a close relative. If you love another man in the eros sense then you would be gay.

I'm a man and I love my father, brothers, and friends, and I'm not gay. So, yes, it's possible.

Absolutely! I've had a number of close friends over the years whom I genuinely loved as a brother. I've had many female friends whom I've loved as a sister (unfortunately, they loved ME as a sister would, too!)

you can love him as a friend and as a person but not in a romantic sense. if you love someone of the same sex in a romatic sense then you're gay, or bi. but otherwise. you're just a sweet friend.

Food & drink... & love!

I would think that if man1 has sexual desires for man2 (in addition to the love you are describing), then he probably is gay. If there is no sexual desire whatsoever, then it's probably something else (infatuation?)

Maybe you are bi-
I don't know. Since this is in the wine and beer....I have a feeling you got drunk and had sex with another male. Maybe you had drank to much.
