Don't drink gin too much but would have to agree with Newtibourn with the Saphire and Tanqueray call.

Beer - good beer - is not domestic and not normally brewed from the "Big Three" (microbrews not included)

Unusualpsycho - good call with the Arrogant Bastard Ale -

I'm a big fan of Sam Adams Lager and Summer Ale,
Elliot Ness, Amstel, Guinness and IC Light (gotta support the Steal City Brewery)

Wheat beers are good for the summer. they're light -- Hefeweizen, Franziskaner

I will drink Dos Equis any time, any place. As for gin, I don't really get around much, and usually buy what's cheapest (I only use it for Tom Collins, so it doesn't have to be top notch).

It also amazes me how beer snobs think they have to impart their wisdom on the masses by claiming how much they love their little microbrew (although don't get me wrong, I do like Arrogant Bastard). If someone enjoys getting drunk off of Coors Light or Miller Light, let them. Not everybody drinks beer for the different tastes and flavors.

not too much of a beer fan however i will drink yuengling and corona. as for gin, which i love very much, i would say that tanqueray and bombay saphire are the two best. try tanqueray no. 10 if you dont mind dishing out a few extra bucks for more smoothness. a little less than 50/50 mix with gin and tonic, garnish with a lime and thats my drink. hope you enoy it

Who cares about gin.

Arrogant Bastard Ale is the best beer. It amazes me how many people say the best is Miller, Bud, Corona, or some other yellow fizzy crap. You people need to learn a little something about beer before you open your mouths.

Now that is a little unfair to say, Steve. I will get drunk on Miller just like anyone else. The question here is what is the BEST beer. People should be made aware that the cheap crap they get drunk on does not necessarily mean it is a good beer.
