God Bless America.
Too bad America is NOT blessed by all its people.

If it was no war with Saddam and I hope soon with Iran, In many years from now it will NOT be America. Another power will take over the world and that will be the ugliest power that ever rule this world it will be a terrorist power.

People!!! think again and support our country and our troops and pray.

This war is NOT in vain.
God Bless America.
Amen

I hate that soldiers are being lost accross the sea too. However, if we say the war is not worth the price we are saying that these poor guys died in vain. I do not think that is a fair statement to the men and the families who have died.

I agree that we are not thinking about a lot here at home first, but I also believe that we should be considering the problems all over the world, not just here at home. To be patriotic means to stand behind our country. It also means that we love the country we live in, and the world it is in.

Like the book 1984, the war in Iraq is not supposed to end. The war has cost approx $374 billion. I think that's more than the oil that's there. The real game is not democracy or oil. It's about spending the federal budget on companies like Halliburton. So if you're Halliburton or other defense contractors, then the war is definitely worth the price.

No way. Even if we had lost no lives over there, it still wouldn't be worth the billions we have spent. We have created more terrorists, lost international respect, bombed out a nation that is now in ruins, and what have we gained?!?! And the price of gasoline is more than double what it cost before the war. Our military personnel and taxpayers have paid the high cost of a few rich white people profiting at our expense. Wise up people.

The war in Iraq was not worth one American soldier dying, let alone 2500+

Money wise I do really have a opinion, but people wise solider are miss a lot in there family's. I have had close family members go and miss holidays, Births, sickness. I mean they are allowed to come home if a close family member dies. I know this is what they sign up to do. But it is hard on the family to have to keep saying bye month after month they come home for a week here and there and then go right back but that is a military family but it is hard.

It depends. If we allow the anti-war crowd to force a defeat - then there is no value. (The only 'winners' will be the terrorists and the anti-war protesters.)

If people just shut up and let us finish - then it will go down in history as one of the lowest casualty campaigns for what was achieved.

DEFINITELY NOT. there is no reason for us to be in iraq. our reason for war keeps changing. first it was becuz of weapons of mass destruction, we never found those, so then the reason was to save the iraqis from a dictator. HELLO, more than hallf the countries in south africa r led by dictators, and they led much worse lives than iraqis but we dnt care abt them becuz if we took them over they're poor and they have nothing to offer us. we jus destroyed a beautiful country for the money. thas definitely NOT worth it. and soo many of our own soldiers died. for abosolutely NO reason.

I think it's one of those obscene policy things countries do that you generally read about well hidden during turn of the century 'endeavors'. Look at the dovetails between the 1890's and 1914 - 1918. Funny. Same general region too!

Certainly not. There was no cause for war. It should not have happened and should not be happening. Call all the soldiers home, and have no more unnecessary bloodshed.

I believe the cause is worthwhile - it's great that humanity is making such sacrifices for the good of other people. However it is a shame that all nations are not taking an equal part!
