Respond with "why do you ask"...that usually throws them off. That's usually my response to a personal question I don't feel like answering.

I get this question sometimes, and I'm 22. 22!! Weddings are the worst, with any female relative in the vicinity asking when it will be my turn. My general response is, "My turn? Obviously you didn't see me run in the opposite direction when she threw the bouquet." Or if it's someone who really has no business asking, I just look at them like I don't understand the question. But it pisses me off too.

You just tell them it's none of their damn business. You can also ask them why they are married. Don't they feel tied down and oppressed? Tell them you like your freedom, and you're not sure who you want to get laid by for the rest of your life. For all they know you could be holding out for the greatest love of your life. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
So to hell with what they think. It's about you.

I wouldn't take offense. They probably think that you are a prime catch and wonder why you have been caught. I would take it as a compliment because I thought the same thing about my boyfriend when I met him. I thought he was really handsome and he is so nice. I'm gonna marry him!! : )

My answer to that question changes with my mood. I hate the question too. Its like your being looked down on by all the married people. What I usually say is "Why ? Do you want me to be as miserable as you ?

Only old people ask that. So say "Oh Grandma, surely!" If it is someone your age, get away from them girl before you say something as insensitive to them in return. After all, you are special like that.

I would either say "why do you ask?", ask a stupid question right back to throw them off or just simply say "the opportunity hasn't presented itself yet" & then change the subject.

Give them a very puzzled look .... act shocked, look all around yourself and say.... Oh my goodness ...why do you ask? Do I have an expiration mark on me ?
Or something like - I mail-ordered but they haven't shipped yet
Anything sarcastic usually works ;)

Say, "I want to make sure I take my time and find the right guy so that I don't have to go through a divorce like everyone else these days."
