Why are flowers often placed in the church?..What do they symbolize?

they don't specifically symbolize anything.
the pastor's wife likes her church to feel & look like home.
it makes the church more homey, more comfortable, to make people feel welcome.
it's to decorate the church too, to make it pretty.
i have flowers in my church we're pastoring & it's also god's beautiful creation. it's to beautify god's house, his holy temple.
you always try & leave a good /strong 1st impression.
god's house deserves the best, don't u think?not 2nd best either, the best.

Jesus had told his disciples to not worry about what they would wear and to consider the flowers of the fields. God clothes the flowers in beauty and how much more would he clothe us, created in his likeness, in his righteuos love

I'm not sure if that is what it's symbolizing. I think it's more so decorative then symbolic. But Jesus did use flowers to illustrate a point of God's love and provision.
