I am 24 and had 2 slipped disks in my back a few years ago. I want to be able to do a backbend, but not really sure how to go about it. I would just go for it if I didnt have back problems. I dont want to fall back onto my head. lol.

Use one of those fitness balls.(I think they are also called Swiss Balls) The ones that you blow up and they are really big and stuff. You can lay on that and practice. And if you do workouts on them you can really strengthen the muscles in your back and core area also. I bought one from walmart and they even come with an exercise poster.they only cost around 10-15 bux..its a good investment

here is a link to walmart.com..check em out

u may cause more injury so i would not even try it. U would have to do a lot of flexing exercises and hope for the best. Lay on the floor bend your legs and put your hands backwards next to your head and lift.

good luck.
