If you screw up and want to take ownership of the error, "My bad" is correct.

If you're referring to your specialty, especially in music, "Jazz-fusion is my bag," is correct.

I used to think it was my bad, because that made more sense I guess. But it is really my bag. I don't get it and I hate it when people use that phrase, it is so stupid.

it depends what you're talking about. like if you did something wrong then you would say "My bad" but if you wanted to talk about your bag (purse, trash bag, etc.) then you would say "My bag..."

if your talking about slang its
"ma bad" not " my bad "
