You should give the source for your statistics. I have a feeling it may be off (by a lot).

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.

The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

With love in Christ.

What evidence do you have that 99 percent of Catholic clergy are homosexual?

By the way, their only reason for condemning homosexuals is that ancient authors scribbled their fearful homophobic ideas onto scrolls that were later accepted as holy scripture. In short, there is no rational, moral reason to condemn homosexuality. "Because it's in the Bible" is not a rational, moral reason.

The Catholic Church condemns the gay act because it really is unnatural and violates the first large Commandment of the Lord given to all of creation: Be fruitful and multiply... The Catholic Church does not condemn the sinner, in common words the sin. in common words those who do not understand Catholicism accuse Catholics of Idolatry. in case you're in actual actuality searching for solutions then go on your nearest Catholic Church for solutions. Do "flaming" homosexual priests give off "holy smoke"?

The church condemns it because it is wrong. I believe that most flaming priests become priests in order to avoid the sin of homosexuality. Since priests can't marry, it gives them a way of appearing chaste and clean to their families.

i wouldnt exactly say that the priests are gay, per say. the scandal with the priests stemmed from them not being able to have normal sexual relations with women and when the 'lil ones went on church camp trips and what not with the priests they were an outlet for their built up sexual feelings.

so some (and it was not near 99%) of the priests did have homosexual sex, but i wouldnt say they are flamming homosexuals.

also im not catholic, im lutheran

wow, you love to incite, don't you...

Surprising no one asks questions about the islamic faith etc.

However, your figures are so off base, that it is not worth commenting about. Besides, the rules are as they are laid down by the catholic hierarchy. If someone doesn't like it, there are other faiths around. How about you start your own religion and see how many years you can uphold it without having bigots and zealots try to take it over.

Over and out !

Look at the new pope, Papa Razzi. Now there is a "pleasant" looking guy who brings nightly visits to an apartment where he can have his way with sex slaves. Of course, they condemn homo's. Homosex doesn't breed new bodies for souls to be captured in so they can become paying beLIEvers later on.

I think you are confused as to the number and by the way we try not to ordain these men. They should make their leanings known. We do not condemn homosexuality but the action on those feelings.

Just because Catholic clergy wear dresses and so many of them seem to like little boys doesn't make them "flaming".
