Well sure.
If you are really looking into the total refreshment capacity of malty beverages, you might try wheat beers. They're light, slightly fruity, and very refreshing on a hot day.
Not sure where you are at, but see if you can find Avery White Rascal. Failing that, look for a cheap deal on 'summer ale' or wheats at your local beer distributor.

its supposedly better to have hot drinks instead of cold in the heat. i forget wat the reason is, but ask any doctor nd theyll tell u
