how do i know if a guy likes me?

the guy i like goes to my church and a lot of people like him. and he acts like he likes me. he hugs me sometimes but it might be just because i don't like hugs, but i heard him and this other guy talking about me...and he stares at me too...
help!

1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?

When did you notice this "phenomenon"? I guess you have to keep track of it and see how long this lasts...you might want to see he makes any move. If he does the same to the other girls, maybe you can give him a miss. Just let him be eye-candy.

you better check his history first whether u r the first girl or the 100th girl and then decide accordingly.the signs that you are telling look like he likes you.
