Don't you love when someone answers a question with the obvious? Anyone knows how to uninstall a program from the Add/Remove item in Control Panel, but maybe YOU MISSED THE PART
"Netmeeting is NOT listed on Add/Remove Programs"
To answer your question, NO, it will NOT harm windows if u remove components, ever! I don't know if net meeting can be removed even if you delete the pile of crap file under the dllcache directory, which replaces any components you delete right after you delete them, which, of course, is a very annoying Micro-SUCKS scheme for cramming thier junk down your throat.
942 may be on to something, but why not complete this sentence?
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,Ne...
What I CAN tell you is that Some of the components NOT listed can be listed by opening sysoc.inf in the (Hidden) directory INF and replacing the word "Hide" with a blank and saving it, then re-opening the Add/Remove item in Control Panel, but this will STILL not remove NetMeeting... but some other crap programs can be removed now.
"dont remove thy directory cus it will remove thy program" ??? Yeah, but I think that is quencerman's POINT, to REMOVE the program. :)

Start > Run > and then copy and paste the following line:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\WINDOWS\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove
If your XP installation directory is C:\WINNT rather than C:\Windows, use the following line:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection C:\WINNT\inf\msnetmtg.inf,NetMtg.Remove
Click OK and let the uninstaller do its thing.
