If we are to win this war..and make no mistake..it's a war. We need to educate people are to whit is going on. Does losing the right to own a gun mean much to a guy who never owned a gun..and feels he really don't need one.
Maybe not. Now..same guy at a restaruant being told (IN JERSEY btw) that he can' t smoke that in the building OR in the parking lot. Well..he pitches a fit..rants a little and then takes his date and go home. On the way...she says to him.."Gee...you lost it over not being about to smoke a stoogie...where was your ire when they yanked your ability to carry a gun and protect yourself??? He pulls over and thinks..."You're right..I've given up consitutional god given rights as stupidly and simply as we sheep are caving in on other rights. It's gotta stop. See lists below...
Member of the NRA,
Member of the 2nd Amendment Foundation

I am a member of the NRA and GOA, I write my representatives when legislation regarding gun ownership guns up in Congress and I keep informed on any pending, proposed or active legislative issues at all levels of government.

Contrary to a comment above supporting the 2nd Amendment is understanding it's original intent. it is the safeguard against tyranny..
I remind likeminded people to remember this passage from a document written 230 years ago.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. —

I resigned from the NRA when they got soft on manufacturers liability. When, not if, but when the 2 Amendment falls, I guess I will go down shooting. It is a hell of thing to contemplate.
