Let me ask you a question smart one.
If you had an experience in which your life was enhanced for the better, wouldn't you go and tell people about it?
Most of the Christians I know not only have a thinking brain but some pastor churches, some are great musicians, and some are just regular average people. They don't cram The Bible down any ones throat. If they are asked a question, the answer is usually based on biblical knowledge and PERSONAL experience.

I'm going to try to be civil, here, but I'll have you know that it's a little difficult.

I am a Christian, and I like to believe that I have a "thinking brain" as you put it. I realize that there are a lot of Christians who are closed minded and tend to throw the Bible at anyone who disagrees, but that isn't all of us. The fact is that there is no reason why Christianity cannot co-exist with scientific thought. Science, by its very nature, deals only with what can be measured (which is certainly no fault of science, and I am by no means belittling it!). Religion deals with the supernatural, the immeasurable. The two are intrinsicly separate, so it is impossible to explain one with the other. In my observation, attempts to do so cause the rift between science and religion that we see today.

Here's your scientific proof for our beliefs: http://www.answersingenesis.org

And unless you take the time to read through the articles and materials, then don't pretend that Christians take everything for granted, as you would be doing the same in not looking at the evidence and assuming we're all Bible-thumpers. Yeah, I believe the Bible, but the above website has info that proves to me WHY I should believe it!

We use reasoning to help others through reference of the Bible just as it states Paul did at Acts 17:1,2.

The Bible is our foundational source for understanding the world.
You use human logic.
Christians use God's logic as revealed in their Bibles.
2 Timothy 3:16,17:
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

You may not like the Bible, but to us it is life itself.

I think and work things out in my mind all of the time. But I also pray over things. I need the inspiration I get from God.

Do atheists do anything other than berate other human beings based on a system of beliefs that you, the atheist, don't subscribe to?

You are giving ALL atheists a bad name. To bad really, I know some pretty cool atheists.

Have you ever read Josh McDowell's book "EVIDENCE THAT DEMANDS A VERDICT!"???? He was trying to prove God was a fake that there was no God and Jesus was just a very nice story. Read either of his two books---Evidence that demands and verdict and the second book---MORE evidence that demands a verdict. Or you can read Lee Strobel's book---THE CASE FOR CHRIST. Another person who tried to disprove Christ.

It seems to me that the person behind this question needs a thinking brain, seeing as how this question has been asked the exact same way a thousand times. Time for something new............... *sigh*
