Was it ever legal to walk up to it? Why is it illegal to go there? Is there a walkway leading up to it?

It was b4 and there is a walk way but its blocked unless your gonna pull a silent hill on the gate thats blocking the way...
I dont recommend it they have cameras up there on the sign though its exciting I would want to do it I always wanted to but Im scared.

The sign is not open fo rthe public.
For a good photo op there is a dog park that you can visit and get great view of it. See link below for directions.

That's a popular hiking area, however, the sign has been blocked off.
Just break into it like every one else does.

I do not htink so. I tried a few years ago.
My uncle claims to have peed on it. It is blocked off becasue of people like him

you can't walk right up to it anymore...too many people writing graffiti on it and partying up there and making a mess.

YOU CAN GET KINDA CLOSE BUT YOU CAN NOT ACTUALLY WALK UP TO THE SIGN AND TOUCH IT OR ANYTHING.
