The typical answer is that Jesus is not god's only son, but rather, his only begotten son.

He's not the only Son, we're all God's children. All part of God, all made of the same matter as God. We are each an individuation of God and together, make up the whole, the body of God. God is the process of life itself.

Jesus was the Son of God, no doubt in my mind. Jesus was also a great prophet and a master. But there were and are to this day, other great masters, all of whom have great lessons to teach about God and life.

I know I wasn't your "intended audience" since I am not Christian, but I have to put in my 2 cents! :)

The Bible is quite clear that Christians are adopted children brought to the Father through Jesus, and Jesus is the begotten Son of God.

We are all Gods Children but it is kinda like he has adopted those that choose to follow his will, so through that we become Gods Children. Jesus on the other hand is God's only true son.

Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, which makes Him the Son of God, was born of Mary, which also makes Jesus the Son of Man, that is why Jesus is God's only Son. On the other hand we are only born of man, which makes us children of God, because He has created us in His image.

thats not a contradiction just a misunderstanding on yer part little one... we become adopted as spiritual children of God when we are saved. Jesus is literally the Son of God

Just what spamandham said.

To put it in different terms...it's like a family of fourteen kids, thirteen of them adopted and the fourteenth biologically descended from the parents. All are their children; only one is the begotten son of that couple.

What contradiction?.
Jesus is the true son we are all "adopted" sons, and are treated as Jesus...as a son.
