You obviously don't understand Christianity.

Christianity is an organisation set up by liars, for the liars so they could tell lies anywhere, anytime about anything and get away with it without question. They don't need to be believed, necessarily. As long as there are enough people around who are 'in on it' to nod knowingly at whatever ludicrous statement you're making, you can get away with it. You can even get away with saying 'Jesus spoke to me'.

Jesus used to speak to English noblemen and told them to go kill Muslims and take their land, and treasures in his name. He was a real chatterbox on the subject, apparently. Talked to enough people about it to inspire the crusades. Then it started to cost more than it was making and Jesus shut his big fat mouth again.

When someone prefixes a statement by claiming Jesus spoke to them, it means what they are about to say is totally unreasonable and unjustifiable but that's only going to be a problem if you're not on their side.

Basically, it's a threat. Conscience has nothing to do with it.

Jesus spoke to me through the Holy Spirit, although it was more of a sudden inner knowledge that He was real than an actual voice. He speaks to me usually through the prophets in our church now. The Holy Spirit is our conscience, living in us and helping us to do what is right. It's like you suddenly feel awful about doing the things that are hurting your life, for me it was gossip and flirting that God made me feel were wrong, and notice it was not any other Christians, I just 'knew' inside me.

Well, you see, Jesus intercesses for us, meaning whenever we sin, he is at the feet of the Father asking for Him to have mercy on us. But if your'e a Christian the Holy Spirit will be your conscience-not Jesus. When Jesus left the world at the end of John, he sent the Holy Spirit to the world. So He is actually the one who usually speaks to people.

Yes, that's what I perceive it to be. If you believe that Jesus is the ultimate example of what to do, then when you look inside yourself for advice, his deeds are what you would try to follow. When people say Jesus "spoke," it is rare that they are actually implying dialogue. Mostly they just get a feeling inside that Jesus is telling them to do something - which is usually what they know, deep down, is the right thing to do. So if you look to Jesus as an example of what is right, he will be the voice inside guiding your actions, like a little Jiminy Cricket of sorts!

Yes I can explain but you will not believe me many do not. Jesus was a high density star child one of many, and there are many now on earth (though being of a different density they are not seen)
When we give the call...(prayer) one of the two orientations of high spirit will answer.. the two orientations are
service to self
and
service to others (the golden rule as Jesus himself taught)
The call is answered in our subconscious part of the brain (separate part really) and then sometimes communicated to our souls and minds
Zeta tell all ...well they should know they helped with the genetic engineering of mankind

Interesting question!

I guess the main difference here is that my concience is really nothing more than talking to myself. I have an idea of what I believe is right or wrong based on my own life experiences and such, and when I'm thinking of doing something against my own values, a part of my brain protests, and that's my "concience".

But when Jesus speaks to me, it's something that's outside of myself, an entirely different experience altogether, and a lot of the time, it's not verbal. I just feel him nudging me to pay attention to something important, or to let go of something that's giving me trouble. It's not always about right or wrong, either. Sometimes it's just about those little details that make life that much more fulfilling.

That's the simplest way to decribe it to a young person. In reality I think everyone has a conscience which is the side of us pulled towards right. I think God uses this whether you are a Christian or not, if you are a Christian it's just that you are more tuned in to hearing it!

I believe in the Holy trinity. Father, Son and Holy Spirit all being one. When Jesus left the earth, he left the Comfortor (Holy Spirit) with us here. I do not believe he is our conscience, but I believe he prompts our conscience when we are doing something wrong. Our conscience is our own inner soul or self. That's why even it is wrong sometimes.

Jesus speaks to us through His Spirit, by the Word of God.
Your conscience is your own.
When you are filled with the things of the world, then the world guides your conscience.
When you are filled with the Word of God, then the Word of God guides your conscience.
It is not an audible voice with which we speak, but a gentle impression or leading within your spirit.

If you are a Christian then you are living a lie. Jesus never spoke to them. Christians, and any other religion come to think of it, is all lies.

I've got a degree in Mathematics, so I would expect anybody who knows me to think that I have at least a modicum of intelligence.

You don't need to be Einstein to have common sense and realise that until proof is provided all religion is bollocks.
