I'd be flattered if 3 people answered they care, and would think 2 of them are in need of points - be truthful.

My "theory" is no one really cares what I think.

you might think im funny or entertaining or thought provoking, its evident of that in you clicking on my questions, but thats not the same as, "I wonder if Jim thinks that x, y, z"

Well ... the medium pretty much precludes this being a personal thing. But like the responder above, I too find that there are several people here whose take on things, writing style, rich experiences, etc. make their posts entertaining and always thought provoking.

So, no, we can't care what you, this one particular Jim, feel about things x, y or z. But you become the sum total of the things you've expressed in your posts -- to Us. And we do want to know what that person thinks about things.

Chin up, kiddo. Every one matters.

Being a firm believer in Christ, The Bible, and God's Creation, I like to hear what you ahve to say. Hearing other people's opinions lets me know how I can better witness to others and show them the scientific proof for Crearion and God. So, We might not be fighting the same battle, but I do care what you have to say.

And to follow: What does Jim think about genetic mutations? Genetic mutations have been used as a theoretical means to justify evolution. However, these mutations consist of lossed genetic information, not the gain that would be necessary to change a monkey into a man. So, then, how does one species mutate into something completely different?

I have to honestly say, I don't know if I really care what you think. It's more that, I like to find out what other peoples ideas are about different subjects. A lot of times, people will bring up something and I am like "hey I never thought of it that way" What I hate though, is when people state there views on religion and its full of negativity and put downs. If it was a family member or a friend than I would me more inclined to care what they think, since they are a part of my life. It's more difficult to do that on the computer.

Dear Jim,
This is your the only "theory" that you have had that is wrong. Of course we care about what you think! I live in Texas where Atheists are few and far between so it is refreshing to have a place to express my views, vent and laugh and not be persecuted. I look to you for enlightenment and entertainment sure but also insight and guidance in a difficult Christian world! I imagine bearing the burden of everyone id's, dogma's, and ego's is a tough responsibility but from what I have seen you are strong and can bear the burden just fine! Keep at it, you are the best and I love you! *whimper *

I find what you have to say interesting and it entertains me for about 30 seconds but as far as really truly caring...

No.

Hopefully my honesty wins out. People toss around words for feelings too easily without really thinking about what that means. To me, caring means that once I leave here and turn off my computer I will give much thought to what you've said and who you are. Maybe I'd even miss you if you stopped writing. But who on here truly cares about the people that ask or answer these questions? And if they really do care... is that sad that they do, or sad that I don't?

Jim, You've created quite a cult following. I do read your posts (Some of them anyway) just to see what you've come up with next. I do not agree with most things, but do agree that you have every right to express yourself. Just please keep on being respectful in your questions. Even if you don't believe in God or Jesus or Allah or whoever, there are plenty of people who do and it is hurtful to have your beliefs bashed about. I can understand your ire because there are sometimes people who claim to be Christian for example and give hardly a Christian answer. Try to be above the pettiness.

Unless they deal in truth, I don't really care what you or anyone else THINKS about religion, science, or any other subject.
IWhat someone thinks or believes with all their heart does not make it true- you can rationalize or justify anything that is comfortable to believe- that is true for myself as well. I have had to lay down a lot of my own comfortable beliefs and ideas for what is truth. Truth is truth- something either is or it is not- so nothing personal to you or anyone else- why waste my time on debating false ideas and theories when the truth is attainable.

So many ppl care man. Christians care if you are not christian. They will put everything to convert you. Muslims read all these to find what you think about them and they will find if you are in there grip. If you are in there grip then they will forcefully convert you to Muslim, and will not care if you aren't.
Hindus care because they want to be entertained. They find all these a gossip or a Circus Show. They have full faith on what they believe. Buddhist may not care and others are ignorants.

Yes I care, and I feel the same, sometimes the intelligent mind might make you feel as if you are wrong or that you have not support, but that is not as important as knowing that you understand the basics and the values of religions and science. We people can not live without the magnificent of science and the qualities of religion.

yes, Jim I'm sure some of us care, I do. I don't care about points, you can't redeem them for cash or prizes anyways. I am here to pretend like I have a large group of friends that I can bounce ideas off of and find enlightenment. cheers, love.
you help alot.
