Check thier employee manual/handbook and see what thier policy is for giving raises. Most places have a standard. If you fall under the correct time-frame then definately ask. If not then wait until it is time.

Usually raises, promotions, etc. are discussed when you are hired.
I would create a list of the duties I was hired to perform. Then I would add the duties you have taken on since then. Add the fact you are never late or call in sick at the last minute, take off early, all that kind of "stuff". Also add in the fact that you think you have excelled and basically run the office. Have two copies of this to take in to your boss. One for him/her and one for you to follow so you don't forget anything.
Ask your boss if you could have a couple minutes to discuss something. Take the above written items and don't go off on tangents, follow your notes. When you have gone over the notes, look him/her straight in the eye and ask,"at this time do you think I have earned a raise?" NOW it's in his/her lap to tell you yes or no and why or why not.
If the answer is, "no, not at this time." You ask what you need to do to improve your job performance to get a raise. Back to them again. See where they take it from there.
Your performance (I am sure you know) should have nothing to do with who owns the company. You should not receive or expect any favors. If you have done as you explain in your question, they should not have a problem giving you a raise. That's why you want to ask them what you have to do to earn one.

In the state of TX every 6 months you are evaluated for a raise. Since you have been there for 7 months and are doing really well, I would mention the tasks that you have been doing and just be nice about it.

You should begin by saying something like " I have really learned a lot from this job in the last seven months, and I've worked hard to complete the tasks at hand. I think It might be appropriate for me to recieve a pay increase for the time, and effort that I put into this job... Good luck!

You want a raise after only 7 months? No way.
One year, then ask.
