When I do ribs in the crock pot, I use Lawry's marinades:

1 jar of Teriyaki w/Pineapple
1 jar of Sesame Ginger
1/2 jar water

Just put the ribs in the crock pot and cover with sauces/water. Put on low and let cook all day long (mine cook for about 10 hours on low while I'm at work).

They're not BBQ ribs, but they are mighty tasty!

I've only made them in the crock pot once. I use this dry rub, and then add a mixture of water and a little pepsi. set at low and don't open it until later in the evening, you'll want to put them in the pot in the morning.

Dry meat rub

2 cups of dark brown sugar
1 tbls of adobo seasoning*
1 tbls of lemon pepper
1 tbls of garlic powder
1 tbls of onion powder
1 tsp of chili powder
1 tsp of mesquite dust
1 tsp of Texas gunpowder*

Combine above seasonings in a plastic bag; add to desired meat at least 12 hours before cooking. For best results leave on meat for 24 hours.

Note: * adobo seasoning is a Mexican season salt found in most Spanish food isles and also in Mexican specialty stores. * Texas gunpowder is also known as powdered jalapenos.

put them in there with water and seasonings...season your water instead of your ribs so that they soak in the seasonings while in the pot. put it on high or low..depends on how fast you want them done. Let them stay in crock pot on high for about 4-5 hours or low for 8-10 hrs. after meat is done, empty water used and add BBQ sauce. let set in sauce on low for 30mins to 1hr.

The ribs will be the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
