Well Carl it's like this. I talk the way i talk and if it ain't good grammar what ever that is. Then that's to bad. You must be a English teacher or something to even worry about it to start with. Well its like this it ain't nobody twisting your arm to make you answer questions in here. So why don't you get a life and quit worrying about how people talk or how they spell. We ain't in school here just asking and answering questions..SO live with it NERD.......P.S. I am 48 with a IQ of 63 And i am proud of what i can spell and how i do talk. And if you don't like it then BITE ME....

i'm with you! there is purely no excuse for those blatant blunders in spelling or grammar. This began somewhat earlier the textual content messaging era notwithstanding it has gotten worse over those very last years. It did start up on the internet, so a procedures as i'll inform. i have delivered the spell checking button to many people's interest to no avail. you should work out different e-mails i'm getting from individuals in this web site. i have had to stop answering them because i have not the faintest idea what they try to assert or get at. purely take a gander over on the homework help section and it's going to make you cry or you'll giggle your self unwell!

If I thought I was here to exercise my grammar skills I would think I was on the wrong site. Just answer the questions. Some of these kids on here haven't learned how to use their words yet. Give them a break. Or start a website to teach them.

Because some people in this country have never been taught proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. People graduate every year in this country unable to read or write properly.
Others on this site are rushed and just don't care if they make errors when they type their question/answer.

This site is used by a large number of immature children who are quite adept at learning the words to songs but haven't mastered the English language yet.
It is also used by a large number of visitors from non-English speaking countries.
Anyone who uses English as a second language and posts on this site does a far better job than I could ever do on any foreign site.

For the same reason we sometimes speak with one word answers, and write abbreviations.

Did you make note that the first paragraph was not a complete sentence? My response answered the question succinctly without the proper grammar. That grammmar would have required me to state something like:

"Proper grammar is not exercised on this forum for the same reason we sometimes speak with one word answers and write abbreviations."

Didn't need superfluous verbiage to convey the message. Get it?

I think it is because a lot of kids are on this site and they type like they are text messaging. I don't agree with it, either. It takes no time at all to hit the check spelling button before subitting an answer.
