I need a car to use as a taxi. I am only starting off so I dont have much money max 3000 euro. I know this is a long shot but maybe there is somebody out there selling a genuine car with low mileage and was well looked after. I am in Dublin Ireland. Thank you.

check with police auctions of their old vehicles. A car with high mileage does not mean it would not be suitable for a taxi.

Nissan QX is good option.
Most larger Japanese saloons are suitable for you, try around Dublin docks for the import auctions. Buy carefully and you could get a reliable, low mileage bargain.

check with your local council as they would have to issue you with a taxi licence, your insurance company would need to know that you intend to use it as a taxi in any case. If you don't want to approach them then take a ride in a taxi as a passenger and candidly ask the questions!!

is it worthwhile nipping to the uk? easy pick up decent vectra/mondeo for that sort of price
