Discontinue repetitive use. Splint the involved part, ice, elevate, NSAID's (anti-inflammatory meds), and physical therapy. Failing these - steroid injection and sometines surgery depending upon the case.

Rest for the effected part, then more rest. In severe cases cortisone injections may be recommended. However, that is not the end of it. There are always causes for the injury and these should be looked at before resuming the type of work that caused it. Bad posture, the keyboard too far in on the desk - it should be at the edge - whatever the cause, it must be got rid of before resuming................
