What would be the best way to run the wiring throughout my living room without it sticking out everywhere? Should I run it along the borders of the walls all the way around?

I went out to Radioshack and got some speaker wallplates. You can put one behind your reciever in the wall, then put the others by the speakers. Then you run your speaker wire through the wall. The wall plates come in a selection. ex. some are made for one speaker, some are made for multiple. You run the speaker wire from the reciever to the wallplate, then wallplate to wallplate through the wall, then into the speaker. Hope this helped

I ran mine above thru the ceiling. Ran the wire from the receiver up in the ceiling. Cut in the drywall with the ceiling speakers (6.5 inches).
