I believe being involved in some sort of sport helps with panic attacks and heres why ..if you do sports you are putting your body under stress and you re-train your body to breathe and most of the time ..deep breathing and relaxation is all you need to control panic attacks..to stop them ..you need to find what the underlying cause is ..and that can be as simple as a food allergy ..or as complex as certain situations you find your self in

Resently I've been having more panic attacks, due to a situation that is getting worse (look at my profile at some of my questions, related to the subject). I have panic attacks everyday (espically during stressful/painful situations that is happening in my life so far). When it comes to me I tend to tremble, suddently feel cold, curl up into a ball and crying to the point of excaustion. Then I go to sleep for a while to recover my strength. These effect me to the point of embrassement when I have them in public, that I don't want to leave my apartment (for fear of people I know bailing out on me or making fun of me).

I get panic attacks and usually I just try to cope with lots of deep breaths and if I can still feel my anxiety level rising I pop a xanax.

I used to get panic attacks. I had one so bad that I thought I was having a heart attack or something worse. I got hot then cold, I felt nausias then like I was going to have diarrhea. My heart would race and the next second would slow waay down. I felt tingling in my fingers, numbness in my hands... I went to the hospital-- only to find nothing wrong. I soon after quit smoking pot and I started taking paxil. Solved the problem.
