I would say no. It is would not be because I do not love her, but rather because things happen sometimes and I would not want the name on my body reminding me of her everytime I saw it. Sure, it can be removed, but that is a costly process.
Maybe instead you could get something like ID braclets or necklaces with a charm with each others name on them and wear those. They would still convey the same message, but they are not permanent and go not leave any scars should they unfortunately need to be removed.
If you want to get tatts, maybe something that reminds you of each other. For example if he likes dragons and you like wolves, maybe you each could get a tatt of the others animal you like. It would still ahve the same signifigance to each of you and would not have to be removed should the unfortunate happen.
Hope this helps and is sound advice. Peace

As long as they have a meaning and they're not just some like, tribal design that looks cool but doesn't stand for anything then I really like them. Tattoos are incredibly interesting.

I wouldn't do it. I work with a girl who had her ex-husbands name tattooed on her about 9 times. She then had to pay more money to have them redone. If you really want to wear his name on you, get a necklace. Then again, it's your body.

I say try doing it in a language like chinese or something , because that way noone will know what it says and you can make something up if you ever break up.

How about getting something that reminds you of him or getting his name in a rare language so you dont look obsessed.

i would recommend, not his name, but a symbol of how you feel about him. That way if you do break up, "John" won't have to care why "Robert" is tattooed on your arm. With a symbol, it only means something to you and him...
