Hey if you are then you are and deal with it, you should know the consequences, if you were bold enough to have sex then be bold enough to tell her.

Not sure how old you are but missed periods in teens can be normal if you are under a lto of stress or are into sports my girlfriend played soft ball and never had perionds all during the season in high school. If you are really scared that you might be pregnant I would first do a test and see what happens. If it comes back positive then I would definately tell your mom as hard as it may be but you need to be seen by a dr and get the proper medical treatment. There are options if you are maybe your mom will be supportive but there is adoption if you don't want to keep the baby there are hundrend of couples just waitin to become parents. I am happily married with 3 kiddos and it is really hard having kids I will tell you. I was in your situation when I was 21 and scared to death and mom didn't undertand. Like i said your best bet is to test first and go from there.

Take a preg. test. Find out your situation. If you are pregnant, then tell your mother immediately. She is your best friend in this situation. She has been a girl, a teen, a wife and a mother. She actually knows quite a bit. Believe it or not, she's expereinced a lot more than she'll ever tell you and she has your best interest in mind. The boy is useless (no matter how much he says he loves you). You are obviously way too young to be having sex (if you were mature enough, you would have used protection). If the test is negative, then get on your knees and thank the lord that you have by a hair missed screwing up the rest of your life. If you do not want to be pregnant and have a very hard conversation with your mother, then protect yourself each and everytime you have sex. There are no half way's with this one. You are either a mother or not. You choose what you want to be. And, abortion (albeit a very personal decision) is not a form of birth control.
I am now providing you with my answer to your question:
1. take a test
2. go to the clinic/doctor/family planning (they test for free).
3. if you are going to have sex at such a young age, GET ON BIRTH CONTROL. Condoms are not the greatest thing in the world. You need to protect yourself.
4. Forget about sex for a couple of years. Go on with your life (leave his silly little boy butt in the dust). Go to school -- grow up -- become a woman. Find a real man to love you, help you build a life and have beautiful children. If you think you are in love now, just wait... When you find real love, it will knock your socks off.
5. Tell your mother only if you are pregnant. But, you could also ask her advice about (love, sex and relationships).
:)

Well, I realize it is tough to tell our parents that we are sexually active. I did have a hard time with my mother when I became sexually active but you know, she got over it. It was scary at first but then she just bit the bullet: and came to the conclusion, she would rather know than not know.
Now I am a mother and I speak rather candidly to my daughter about sex. I would rather know and be temporarily dismayed than not know at all. Maybe this could open the door to you taking birth control later. I don't think you should go through this kind of stress without her knowing. It is always a shock to the parents if they find out after the fact. She may be a little upset now but not as upset if you wait until later. Moms want to be there during these kinds of things even if it puts her panties in a bunch. Good luck!

Missing your period can be caused by a lot of things, not just pregnancy. Don't tell your mom that you think you're pregnant until you take a pregnancy test. There's no sense in freaking her out unnecessarily (unless you're like 14, in which case, keep your legs closed, girl!). Wait another cycle to see if you've missed your period again. If you do, then tell your mom and ask her to schedule an appointment with the doctor.

Periods can be unpredictable. Go to a drugstore like Walgreens or large discount store like Walmart and buy a home test kit. They are highly accurate.
If the results are negative, stop worrying and be more careful. Buy some condoms too, and possibly consider BC pills or the shot.
If it is positive, tell your mother. You will have alot of issues headed your way that you will not be able to handle on your own. Above all, make sure you find a way to give the baby a good life. If you are not in a position to provide that, please consider adoption. There are thousands of potential parents waiting for a baby to adopt.

Yes, you should tell her....for two reasons:
1. If you are pregnant, you'll need medical care for the baby and yourself. If you don't want the baby, she can help you put it up for adoption.
2. If you're not pregnant, she can help you get effective birth control so you don't become pregnant.
By the way....if you turn out to not be pregnant, consider this a red flag/warning sign that you're screwing around with something you're too young to handle. I'm not trying to insult you here, honestly, but if you have to ask yourself "should I tell my Mom?" then you're too young to be having sex. Just because you can physically HAVE sex, doesn't mean you're old enough to deal with the negative effects of sex. STD's, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, loser boyfriends......I've had friends who have had them all and it really sucks. Many of their lives were totally screwed up by having a baby, young and out of wedlock.
Do the right thing and wait until you're married to have sex.
Good luck to you.

Well I've missed my period many times before and I think that you should just get tested and if you find out that you are pregnant then you should defiantly tell your mom.
But if your over 18 then you don't have to tell your mom anything.
But I think that even if you are already 18 you should still tell your mom.

A missed period can mean a lot of things. Telling her? That depends. I had a friend who was pregnant. She told her mom, who pressured her into having an abortion, which she regrets to this day. It all depends on if your mom will support you, I guess, or make things harder. Eventually, she will find out if you are, but if she will only make things harder, it would better to wait, and find someone who will help you out, and then tell her.

Tell her as soon as you know for sure. When my sister was 17, she found out she was pregnant. She didn't tell my mom until she was showing, about 6 months. Definetly tell her. She can help you the best with this.
