No.
Nor do I believe in pixies, fairies, leprechauns or any other mythological fabrication.
As for your inane notion that the world is "going down the tubes" where do you get your information?
Humanity has never been better off. More people are living longer lives, many diseases have been all but wiped off of the face of the earth, education is at an all time high... I could go on and on. But I suppose to you, the "good old days" is when people were kept ignorant enough to believe in some magic sky-pixie and paid what they could (and sometimes more) just to buy thier way into a better life right?
Well now we have a better life and the need for your mythology is almost non-existent. Only the gullible and terminally stupid have any need of such a crutch these days...

i don't believe in God, but i won't stop anyone from doing so. I feel that there are so many things in this world that disprove the existence of an all-loving higher-being or God. How are there such horrible things happening in the world if there's a God up there watching us? If God is supposed to take care of everyone's pain then why is there so much suffering and war? is He just letting us kill without doing anything about it? Because i don't believe in God doesn't mean i live a horrible, sorrowful life. Why is it that you have to accept God to be loved by God? Isn't that a little selfish? I won't tell you that religion is wrong, because maybe it isn't. i just don't believe in God. Maybe it's just me.

It is all your perception. The world is no better or worse than it has been before. It is just that we hear bad news immediately thanks to 24 hour TV and the Internet.
God (I prefer to call it the Spirit) is within each of us. It is we who can make this world a better place not God. It all begins with the person you see in the mirror. The spirit has no powers or magic. The problem is people have stopped looking within themselves and is dependent on some outside element to save them. Even Jesus has said "Lo, look not here nor look not there, for the Kingdom of God is within you.". Every religion says that and yet people do not listen because they are brainwashed and blinded and want to believe in some magical place and magical being.

I believe in God. There was a time when i was depressed, I had a hard time believing in God and I realized how stupid I was being. No there is no doubt in mind that God is there, He truly is always listening to you, but the fact that He may not answer your prayers right away, doesn't mean He doesn't care. I'm glad I finally have opened my eyes to that reality and it's made a world of difference on my life.

I believe in God because I can feel Him every day. He makes me feel safe and happy and loved. He makes the beautiful world I see outside my window and He makes the beautiful birds and gave them their beautiful songs and He made the other little animals like the squirrels and the butterflies. I see the beautiful clouds and I see the blue sky and I think of God. I hear Billy Graham or Franklin Graham preach and I hear God. I hear George Beverly Shea sing just before Billy Graham preaches and I can hear God. There is a God and He makes me feel secure and safe and happy and loved.
I don't know why people would choose not to believe in Him. Maybe some of them don't know about. There are people like that. We should tell them about Him. Then maybe they would choose to believe in Him and feel like we do.

As a Deist, I believe in God, but not as a man or anything us simple humans can understand. I think of it as a more metaphysical thing.
I do not believe Jesus Christ, Buddha, or Mohammad were anything more than mortal beings. I believe that the bible and Koran are a good history book and a basis for good in the world, but I do not think they are anymore the word of god than a local newspaper.

First, thank you so much for asking this question and for sharing God's love with everyone here.
Second, I absolutely do believe in God.
For me, it began as a step of sheer faith - because believing in Someone I couldn't see or hear was pretty difficult to buy into.
But after saying something as simple as, "God, I really WANT to believe in You, please help my unbelief." God instantly did!
Since that time, God has proven Himself over & over to me. I've been a Christian for over 20 yrs. now and have never regretted it.

I genuinely have continually believed n God and in no way owing to my moms and dads. My actual father replaced into curiously a pagan, my mom replaced into made stone scared in the route of religion after being raised in a Catholic convent and that i in no way beloved my step father, so i did not pay interest to him. throughout the time of all my turmoils over the years, i'll genuinely say that it'replaced into God that raised me, taught me to love and has put up with my negativety and he nevertheless tries to interest my memory time-honored that his love is actual. I were given so offended at him 18years in the past that I disowned him and grew to grow to be on my own in the international at 15 yet ten years later he nevertheless managed to pull me back to him. i'll in no way ever turn my back on him back and that i thank him for being the in common words individual who has ever considered me as some thing to love. I stay with my little ones, my substantial different, spirits and God and ought to opt to stay with acquaintances in my life too yet residing with God takes priority and people imagine i'm both too poor to carry close or strange because I stay with spirits. i do not worry with the dream of acquaintances anymore, i replaced into time-honored in college yet as an grownup I genuinely were called a witch, the anti-christ, etc.. I genuinely have had people run out of my living house more advantageous than once even as they comprehend for themselves I brazenly communicate with spirits and they freely communicate with me. I want God's love anyday with or without outsiders and wrongful judgement.
