Sorry that I did not give enough details before. He has been on infant cereal since a month old due to reflux. He normally eats every three hours and normally pretty well. However, yesterday he threw up and since then has been refusing to eat much of anything but will only drink water. I had to force him to eat three ounces last night and this morning. He is not crying or anything and seem to be in a good mood all morning. I called the docotr but am currently waiting for his call back.

Well, you need a lot more details than this. How is he/she doing? Is he/she acting normal, are they alert, are they wetting the diaper normally, are they pooping normally? All these things can tell you if they are doing okay or not. How long have they been refusing to eat? Maybe they have a tummy ache, maybe they are starting to teathe, maybe they are coming down with something. Talk to your doctor if you are really concerned.

What are you feeding her? What was her appetite like before?
You didn't really give enough info to make an educated guess.
Call your child'spediatrician, the front desk will pass along the info to her m.d. and they'll call you to see if you should bring your 3 mo old in.
And don't just start giving your child vitamins or pediasure. You want to check with your childs pediatrician first and see what they think.
NEVER give your child something before 1 yrs. old without discussing it with their pediatrician!

Try giving her/him nutrition drink for kids, Pediasure.
Make sure she/he is getting a vitamins like Flinstones.
My sisters kid did the same thing he/she will grow out of it.

We could not understan it becasue she did not want ot eat but still had energy.

No newborn refuses to eat. There is something wrong, like does the baby know how to suck? Are you breast feeding? Check with the babies Dr. IMMEDIATELY!!

Best Wishes
