That no one person, that no one religion has everything correct? I mean I see a lot of good in many different religions and wonder if ther isn't an almighty God somewhere just crakcing up at us! I mean really Christianinty has many fine points and good rules to live by, Budist have peace and harmony and treat everything inthe world with respect, Mormons really respect the body and mind...I could go on and on naming parts of different religions that are good.

Isn't it possible that none of us have 'life' figured out 100% and we are all just struggling.

You make a rather interesting point, one that I would agree with in many respects (despite the disapproval of some of my fellow Christians). You are correct in stating that many of the world religions have positive aspects to them. Now, while I tend to be more of an inclusivist than a pluralist, it would be foolish for someone condemn the good actions of a non-Christian, for instance. God works in ways that God sees fit, including working through the acts of non-Christians (Just look at the story of the Good Samaritan).

And, I whole-heartedly agree with your last question. All of the world religions have their flaws, even Christianity. Now, when I say Christianity, I refer to the worldly manifestation and institution that we see today. As no people are perfect, neither are any institutions they comprise. In the Christian sense, it is only with Christs return that the Church will become unblemished and holy. So, yes, no one has life figured out 100%, but I do believe that some have it figured out better than others...

Yes, there is a God watching us, but He is not cracking up. He gave us His written Word, but people want to change it or add to it-that is what causes all these religions. Your big problem is you can't tell the difference between Christianity, Buddhism, and Mormonism. The real struggle should be about discerning pseudo- Christianity form real Christianity. Good does not cut it with Almighty God-check His Word.

hello"
you are correct that NO one has all the answers and anyone who claims they do well i guess they are ready to be in heaven or wherever they think perfection is .
we all struggle down here and it is up to us individually to be the best we can ,to be tolerant ,kind ,patient and open ,there is no one religion or group that has all the answers although many CLAIM that is all you need .
ignorance ,and intolerance for peoples differences .
as you said all major religions have many fine points but unfortunately they seem to need control over their prisoners in order to present their case .
none of them have ALL the answers

of course it's possible. religion is the human way of finding a reason for life and all that. each group has certain beliefs. it's just people trying to understand the world and life. so its possible (and probable) that we're missing something, or that we're all wrong.
what about 42? :P

...and that each religion is attempting to achieve the same goal and that each person is trying to promote what they believe in an honest attempt to help another? That would be great.

I'm not trying to slam anyone but what about those that would kill all non-believers? What about Daniel Pearl and decapitation in the name of Islam?

I don't think we have it all figured out, but we have God's revelation, which is what we need to get saved. The way we interpret it is individual, and different groups of people either reject it or emphasize one aspect.

I think the only answers are in the one and only true God, our Father in heaven!
May you be blessed by the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth..

Seems to me that all religions I've looked at have a few things right and a lot of things wrong.

Of course, but don't try to tell a hyper-religious person that. Everyone wants to think they have a lock on absolute truth, and that everyone else is wrong.
