well, I wouldn't normally put those combinations together - but hey, who cares - enjoy! If you are having cravings - indulge! If you are pregnant, you have earned the right to eat whatever you want - good luck!
If you are pregnant, give up diet soda - aspartame is not good for babies - that was hard for me to give up, but your baby is worth it!

Aw, it's really common in early pregnancy to crave crazy stuff. Your hormones are all whack and your body's trying to figure out what the new life inside you needs... For some reason, savory snacks tend to lessen nausea in some people, too. It might seem odd, but greesy potato chips are a big favorite in early pregnancy for that reason.
If you are pregnant, your cravings might start to make more sense soon. Like, if you suddenly love the taste of milk, it's because you need more calcium (baby is taking yours for its own bones). Even the strictest vegetarians start wanting meat, for the iron. So forth & so on.
In my own experience as somebody who just has never liked milk or dairy products at all, when I was pregnant with my son, I think I kept our local TCBY in business. I could NOT get enough frozen yogurt. Also, I got into a habit of eating an entire watermelon almost every day! I later learned that, aside from the liquids (amniotic fluid replaces itself every half hour), watermelon contains a certain type of immune-booster that is particularly good for pregnant women.
You may be wanting tuna because your body is craving things that a fetus needs. Seafood is a good source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids, which are necessary for brain development. Unfotunately, many seafoods contain mercury, which is BAD for the fetus. Tuna in a can contains a good deal of mercury, so you might want to satisfy this food preference with salmon or any of the smaller, light, cold-water fish. Google "fish and pregnancy" for lists. Typically, shell fish are safe. Large heavy feeders like Seabass are the worst because they live longer, so the mercury builds up, plus they eat all the other fishies (& their trace amounts of mercury add up).
Lastly, I'm wondering why wait a day or 2? Modern pregnancy tests can detect the hormone difference within days of conception.

In the back of your mind you think you are prego and making your self do this. By the way, most pregnant women don't crave weird things like Pickles and Ice cream or Tuna and spaghetti & meat balls (some do, but most don't). As far as you liking the Tuna, our taste buds change every 7 years, so things we didn't like as children, we may love now.
But, it may be because you are prego, if so congrats and best of luck!!

IT just might be in your mind.
Quit drinking diet pop. Aspartame isn't good for a developing fetus.
