Have you ever thought like that? Have you ever wished you were dead? Have you been impatient with life and living? You were just holding on? Have you ever felt like that?

No I haven't, and if you are thinking this way, you should reconsider. There is always people that loves you, even though you feel like some don't. Think of all those positive things in life that really is worth living for, like your family, your friends, your dog, cat, all your laughts and smiles, and all the fun you had sometime. Just shake your head, mister, and start over again.

SOME F'IN STUPID PEOPLE ANSWERING (first few responses)

It's not a stupid question. jeezez

ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION: YES. I HAVE. Yes I have been there. And yes, many many people go through this. Many don't admit it. Most that go through this are 12-early 20s in age. As you become more certain about yourself and have a better foundation in life, these thoughts start to diminish.

Fortunately I have a strong mind and willpower and was able to keep myself alive. But since I don't know what is after this life.. it is difficult to say if it's fortunate that I'm still here or not LOL. But I now have my wonderful wife and things are looking good. So I think I'll stick around a while longer :)

THE TURNING POINT FOR ME? The ironic thing ? I once called a suicide line. They said are you planning to kill yourself. I told them no.. not currently, but I have had a plan and I keep it on file and because of things happening in my life I think I might do it again and I'm scared. They said if I'm not feeling suicidal at the moment that they could not help me. What they didn't know.. I was just on the floor in the kitchen. crying balling my head off.. knife on the floor .. blood. cut hand., didn't know how I got there.

Obviously they didn't care enough to ask more questions.. I couldn't believe it! It was my first attempt to call or talk to somebody. So after that phone call pissed me off soo much, I have strived to try and become more positive in my interactions with people and remove idiots from my life (that were causing my emotional problems)., like the ones who made that call center. Surround yourself with positive reinforcement and tadah! :)

PUNCHING BAGS? YELLING? BOXING? GOING TO THE GYM? And it's not as easy as getting a gun at a shooting range or getting a punching bag. Actually it can make it worse. At least it did for me. It just hid my emotions.. instead of dealing with them.. it would just bottle up things more. It felt good physically, but mentally I was still going south. i.e. if I had a friend that put me down all the time.. going to the gym does not solve the problem for me. I gotsta get rid of the so-called friend and replace with a better friend. Otherwise all I get is beat up by my friend all the time and in turn to the gym and beat up on a leather bag.

CHANGES NEEDED: Talking to people that have had similar problems.. that's the key in my book. People that accept you for who you are that is - and can give positive thoughts. You don't want to surround yourself with other suicidal people that are in the same state you are in at the time LOL that wouldn't be good. Gotta have somebody with their head on straight without the problems that you may have.

All my life I had nobody to talk to.. or at least I didn't talk to anybody. If I had somebody to talk to.. a friend., it would have been two thousand times better.

Nope. Life has so many challenges.

Even when things totally suck - and I've been through some rough moments - what goes through my head is mostly how to beat those challenges and move onto other things.

When the going really gets rough, take up boxing! There's nothing like beating up on a punching bag to get in a good mood.

I'm basically just holding on. I'm curious about what's ahead. To me this world is a playground (although not always fun) and the next life will good, so I'll stick around down here till my time is up.

I've benn very depressed before but remember that old song by the birds turn, turn, turn, there is a season turn, turn, turn, and a time for every purpose under heaven Eccl: chapter 3 in the Bible that is where it comes from. THINGS ARE ALWAYS CHANGING AND ALWAYS WILL. this is just a bad season but things will get better because everything changes.

Personally i think everybody gets to that point when life hits you with nothing but stress, drama and bills but you have to somtimes look past your feelings and put yourself in someone elses shoe's like whenever I am short on cash or feel stressed out about anyhting I think of all the people who died in september 11th,katrina. araq and all the soldiers who are still fighting for us to live and it gives me a sense of my life isnt to bad after all. so word of wisdom think of other's before you do anything you cant take back or regret..

I have had 5 friend pass away since Dec.
Some from cancer, malpractice, sickness...
Ages running from 40 to 58.
All fought hard to hang on to what life had.
They set a fine example of enjoying life to the end in spite of what problems they had or the pain they had to endure to enjoy their lives to the full.
So ask yourself, is it really that bad?

The only way you are going to heal is to stop dwelling on negative things about your life. You need to start thinking positive thoughts. If you try to find something positive about your life and dwell on that each day, eventually your negative thoughts about life will go away. We make our lives what they are. We have control over our thoughts. We must do our best to make our selves happy and please accept God and try to pray every day and ask God to help you. If you accept Jesus as your personal savior, you will be healed. It won't be all roses, but you will find the true meaning of life! Please feel free to email me if you just need to talk about your life. I will be there for you. Your life really matters to me.
