Well, it is kind of a joke. You are 12 years old! Seriously, you are 12! Why would you have a boyfriend at 12?
Please, be young. You have lots of time for boyfriends. Get active in your school, sports and education. Focus on that right now, and leave the "boyfriends" out of the picture until you are at least 16...

This should be the last thing you are worried about. Study and worry about your school work. Boys will come and go. You only are able to live your teenage years once, so do not mess it up. I was still playing with my barbies at 12. OH NO, how things have changed.

better to have loved and lost .. then to have never loved at all ....
with that said, drop him like a bad habit .... there are plenty of better fish in the sea.
a relationship is an interaction between two people... if he thinks it is a joke, find someone who puts the same value on that relationship

sit him down and tell him seriously that the relationship is over. if he doesn't still get the picture try telling him in other ways or just start hanging out w/ other people. soon he will start to get the picture. also he may be in denial of what happened. so just give it time and eventually he will see that you are being serious.

Twelve is kind of young to have a serious boyfriend, but I think he'll figure out you are serious when you start to see other guys. Just be careful.

Tell him you are serious.! Look him in the eye. Don't hang around him for a while. Some people are just in denial (watch out for the suicidal ones)

Girl you are 12, you will get over it and believe me you have a looong way to go...forget him and concentrate on things that make you happy eg you friends etc.
