Probably not here, but YES people have. Do a search for ex-atheist, and youll find alot of sites of people who have converted. The athiests dont like to think it happens, but it does.

There's a difference between a spiritually ignorant atheist who suddenly finds religion...
and an atheist who actually knows all about religion, and consciously decides it is nonsense. I doubt, short of an aneurism, that the latter has EVER converted to Christianity.
But someone who simply doesn't know anything about God, etc, and gets "saved" at some point, yes... I'm sure there have been plenty of those.

In history many high profile aethiests became theists or eventually Christians
I myself was an agnostic for about 3 years and lemme tell you it was depressing
in recent years the famous and outspoken scholarly aethist Anthony Flew became a theist ( see articles like Flew the Coop ) Anthony Flew and Gary Habermas had many debates with Gary Habermas and the Design argument was instrumental in swaying him and perhaps Gary's kind demeaner?
see interview with Anthony Flew
http://www.biola.edu/antonyflew/
but others high profile and scholoarly atheists who eventually believed in God would included Morrison, CS Lewis, Josh MacDowell and Lee Stroebell They all found convincing reasons to believe
Convincing reasons are not however sufficient and ulimately God must change the heart from opposing truth to loving it before one turns to Him by grace
For some strange reason CHEESE sent me a note accusing me of lying, however the people above are quite accurate and were high profile Atheists who did in fact come to believe in God. I'm sure CHEESE will send and appology soon for his rash accusation.

My brother converted while in AA. He is very weak minded and was close to death so it was a good thing. Being uneducated and never finishing school the comfort he gets from the simple answers gives him piece of mind he can not get anywhere else.

The behaviours of Christians now a days will likely lure people away from Christianity-not towards it.

why would someone change from being open minded and free willed to close minded and controlled by dogma? It happens VERY rarely.

Yes. I have.
I don't like "religion" but I like having my relationship with Jesus. Be careful that you don't get mixed up in "Christian RELIGION". It's not the same... it's just rules with no relationship.

Not that I know of, thought it might happen. A frontal lobotomy would be the first step I believe...
