I have contacted my local police dept. My county selectman. My Congressman. My Senator. My neighbors. And now this site. The police say it's a federal thing,and pass me to Immigration and Naturalization,which never answer their phones,my selectman is useless,my congressman is not much help at all,they revert me back to immigration,and my senator is also useless.No one cares.Meanwhile since 9/11 millions of elegal aliens including Mexicans,have left their countries to live here in the U.S.A.When is someone,with athority,going to do something.Every day that goes by,thousands of elegals make it across the southern border.And no one in government gets fired or repremended.And for those pro Mexican folks,how many Mexican Troops are in Afganistan or Iraq helping in the war on terror? The answer is 0.They are not helping at all.The only good thing is,all elegal aliens above the age 17 going to public schools,and residing in the U.S.A. must sign up for the draft.No exceptions.

Our economy is 100% dependent on immigrant labor. Since our federal government won't take appropriate action to establish a balance, people will enter without government authorization.

I have a question for you: Why do you care so much? Live and let die.
And don't be so "patriotic", the fact that we are killing inocent people in Iraq fighting "terror" (more like protecting oil interests) doesn't make it right. Mexico has enough oil, so I guess they do not need to go overseas to get it from someone else.
Anyway, going back to your question, the police should be able to help you, but they probably will not intervene for fear of been sued in case your illegal alien turns out to be legally in the country. In order for them to determine that, they would have to ask for proof of legal residency, but then, they would fall in the grey area of "illegal search".
If you have proof, on the other hand, that the individual in question is here illegaly, you must present it at the time of your call to the police, -or call them when the person in question is doing something illegal (other than been illegally in the country, at that point, they can check background) otherwise, they probably are understaffed and overworked as it is to pay much attention to what could be a risky situation -from a legal point of view-.

why aren't you fighting the war on terror? is this a secret mission you've invented for yourself?
every day thousands of illegals make it across the border. and then they do our dishes, mow our lawns or pick strawberries.
in light of the ongoing war, i would have to say these guys are not posing much of a threat. it would be a waste of our already stretched resources to chase them out. and if we grant them amnesty, we'll have a massive pool of people who will go fight. are you helping in the war or were you just lucky enough to be born somewhere where you can have delusions of heroism without going into battle? i do not think it is particularly noble to bust someone who risked their life to try to live here too.

How would they know who to turn in? There's no paperwork on any of these people that's the problem... We don't know who's over here or how many. We could have half the population of Mexico over here and the INS wouldn't have a clue.

Make sure illegal is spelled correctly, how do you know if there are or arnt any mexican miltiary men?? There are plenty mexicans, or should I say latin troops in Iraq serving, you just dont know about it.

start a political organization based on enforcing the laws that are already in place...and then watch your politicians start hopping to it when you get enough people signed up....
