I will be going to London and Paris. I'm going to be taking my laptop with me to get on the internet. I e-mailed the hotel and they said I don't need anything special, but I want to be prepared just in case.

On my laptops adapter it says:

AC Adapter
Input: 110 - 240V - 2.5A 50-60HZ
Output: 18.5V ---- 6.5ATemperature: 45C

So the way I understand this all I need is the adapter to convert the prongs. I've also purchased in all-in-one adapter plug with surge protection. Can this be used for the laptop and will it protect it? This is what I have: http://www.franzus.com/page/FOS/PROD/ELEC-CONV/TS-237AP-1

I also need to use my hairdryer and iron, but it just says 120V, so I have this http://www.franzus.com/page/FOS/PROD/ELEC-CONV/TSM-1875CK-1

Should this be everything that I will need? I also will have my camerage, but the battery charger looks as though it converts.

Thank you for your help!

A simple plug adaptor will be enough to use your laptop. Check with your hotel--they may have one that you can borrow from the front desk for the duration of your stay. As for the hair dryer and iron, the converter may work (or it may blow up the appliance), but instead of buying one, again, check with the hotel. Hotels often have these for loan for foreign guests. If you can avoid having to carry the bulky, heavy converter, the dryer, and the iron, you can save a lot of room and weight in your luggage for more important things.

Watts is a similar interior the united kingdom as in France (many times 220 volts). you'll want a plug converter in spite of the indisputable fact that (3 factors interior the united kingdom, 2 factors with extra Prise de Terre for France), which you would be able to many times discover at maximum airports.
