I haven't used them, but do know of some very good discount travel sites that are trustworthy:

www.kayak.com, www.cheaptickets.com, www.qixo.com, www.cheapflights.com, www.mobissimo.com, www.farechase.com, www.sidestep.com, www.globester.com, www.cheaptravelnetwork.com, www.travelocity.com, www.orbitz.com, www.priceline.com, www.expedia.com, www.hotwire.com

Good luck.

Always compare prices with the airlines websites. You can find better deals on them than you might think. The websites that advertise for "cheap" or "discounted" fares can be traps. They are highly restricted sites and you can not make changes to them. The airlines will not touch these tickets or offer an help if you have a problem. Travel sites offer the most rediculous schedules and connections and charge booking fee's. Do research before using one particular website. Priceline, CheapTickets, Hotwire, Lowestfare....any of these that show you price before your airline or schedule...I do not recommend.

Go to the airports website that you are departing from to see who services that airport. Then you can check Orbitz or Kayak to see what the going rates are. Then go to the airlines websites to see what they are offering as far as price and schedule. Some airlines like Southwest and Jet Blue do not participate in these websites as well as other low cost carriers, so you would need to check their websites individually.

If you are skeptical, NEVER use their sites. ALWAYS READ THE FARE RULES no matter what website you choose to use. That way you know what you are agreeing to. I highly do NOT recommend these bargain basement websites. I worked for an airline and I have seen more people get burned using these things. If you need help finding flights, shoot me an e-mail with your cities and dates and I will help you find something. If you are trying to save money, dont be time specific as far as when you need to depart and return. Also keep in mind the airports around you or your destination if there are any close by, they can be cheaper.
