I want to buy a new flat screen TV. Any advice where to get the best prices (not online!). I checked BJs but they just had real big TVS. I want a 23 or 24 inch flat screen. Don't really like the wide screen.

Check out Wal-Mart. They have a decent selection of TVs just like you are looking for and they have great prices.

First let me clear some confusion from previous answers. Sony DOES NOT manufacture consumer plasma TVs under the BRAVIA sub-brand., only LCDs.

Are you looking for a flat panel TV {LCD and Plasma} or flat screen TV {CRT type}

If you are in the South Florida or Metro Atlanta area, then visit BrandsMart U*S*A*, the got a huge selection of TVs. if not, then visit your local Costco, they got several TVs that might fit your needs.

You could try e-bay, however you're always taking a gamble there.
