it didn't hurt for me it was fun go ahead do it don't let a myth keep you from doing it if you want to think about it pretty much every one in the world will have sex sooner or later so if it hurt nobody would have sex !!

if your a girl it hurts so badly, my first time almost made me cry but grabbing on something helps relieve the pain a little but after a while it starts to feel good.

Yes it does. The skin the the girl's part is slightly ripped and that feeling is a little painful.

Not a myth if your female...but, I do think that if the person knows your a virgin..they would arouse you to the point of no return and then take it slow....and if your young....WAIT...

ummmm I guess it all depends on the person. I know my first time it hurt, however the person I was with was kinda rough and not very sensitive.

It depends on the two people doing it, but mostly all people say yes it hurts, very few say it didn't.

yes it does hurt--just make sure you are ready--have him take it slow and easy until your stuff gets used to him being in there and then it should not be so bad. once you get going and you loosen up, it should feel really good!
don't jump it to it though, make sure it is what you really want and you are doing it because you want to, and not because you feel like you have to!!

well for me it was quite pleasant actually, but I assume you wanted a womans perspective on this. i assume that your hymen being ripped would probably hurt a lot.
