I'm done with the drop-outs and the girls who turned out to have boyfriends or drug problems.
I want someone who can help make me better, and, obviously, someone I'm attracted to. Unfortunately, with the crowd I'm around, I really don't know a girl like that.
Any ideas on how to meet someone like that without seeming too weird?

Go places where you can meet the type of woman you're looking for. Consider dating someone you normally wouldn't date when you first see them. There is usually so much more to someone than meets the eye. While no one can 'MAKE [you] better', being with a positive person who has it together can definitely influence your life in a good way. Get in with a better crowd-being a nice guy is the way to get a nice girl! Keep looking don't give up! She is out there somewhere!

Have more confidence on yourself... you need it to find a person who as a better self estime of herself.
If you attract those problems girl there as to be something with you so think about it... maybe change the type of place your normally go... maybe they are not the right place

Just get out of that group that surrounds you with bad things. Meet new people online and offline. I'm sure a nice girl will appear.

Just go somewhere where there are people with the same interests as you and I'm sure you'll find someone who's more like what you're looking for.

There is no exact "way" you just have to find one. Maybe you should be away from your crowd once in a while and be with a new one sometimes?
