I'm gay, and I remember having crushes on boys in elementary school. It's not a choice to *be* gay. It's a choice to come out and to live your life as the person you are, rather than to hide under the generally accepted (I think lying is in the commandments for anyone wanting to throw the Bible in here).

But, to answer your question: "Is it okay to abort a gay fetus?"

I'm pro-choice, so I have to leave that up to the mother.

Yes. It's currently Okay to abort a hertosexual fetus, therefore, a gay fetus deserve no special protections. Moralistcally and legally, it is the same for both fetuses.

Its not ok to abort any fetus. Are you suggesting that it would be ok to abort a gay fetus (how could you know that) but wrong to abort a straight one?

It's the woman's choice. You won't know if the fetus is gay or not. No way to test it. So what if it's gay. What if the fetus grows up to discover the cure for cancer? Hmmm?

Your question makes no sense. It isn't "OK" to abort any fetus. Being gay is a choice that people make later in life and God will judge all according to their deeds. I have no place to say who is a sinner and who is not.

It is allways wrong to have an abortion. There is no such thing as a gay fetus. Homosexuality is a choice. Nobody is born gay.

you cannot tell if a child is going to be gay when it is a fetus. i do not agree with abortions but i cannot stop anyone from making that decision either.
