Well I'm just letting you know there's no way around hurting her feelings.

You should probably do it in person. Make sure you break it to her gently and point out YOUR flaws that add to the not working-ness of the relationship rather than hers. Be polite and mature. Don't get angry. Let her know you guys can still be friends. And be kind; tell people the break up was mutual. She'll appreciate that.

Tell her that you have enjoyed the time you spent together and you don't want to hurt her but you feel like it is time for you both to see other people-try to be gentle but firm-expect some tears or even anger! The longer you have been in the relationship the harder it will be to break up-glad you are nice enough to care about her feelings-this shows that you are a real gentleman! some so called men just start a fight and blow up blaming it all on the other person-so immature!!

You should do it face-to-face instead of over the phone or worse still, text her goodbye for good.

The best way is to look for a quiet location at night by the sea as it sets the mode to tell her of your change of heart. Break it to her gently and explain the reasons behind it. Assure her you may still remain friends.

There's no such thing as a best time to do it. You just have to do it as soon as you can. The more time that goes by the more painful it will be for her, and more uncomfortable it will be for you. Don't pretend that things are going okay between you, (especially if she asks) just be open and tell her how you feel. Be prepared to answer questions like "why? how long have you felt this way? etc" - Good luck to you.

First off, why do you want to break up with your girlfriend?? I can't really give you any advice unless I know an exact situation because I don't want to just tell you anything to get her out of your life. Do you still love her? Do you just want to be friends? Let me know something. Email me and I'm sure I can help you out!

Just break up with him. There is no right or wrong way, just say how you feel and don't hide or forget anything that you may need to tell your boyfriend. It's better to be honest and up front than to hide it from your boyfriend.

face to face when its just you and her. usual lines

1. I need a little more me time and less we time.

2. I think we should take a little break, its you; its me.

3. Or you could just tell her the truth, whatever it is, don't be rude or mean just honest and let the chips fall where they may.

Well, do it yourself and in person. Girls hate to be dumped in notes or by the bf's best friend. Just take her out to a movie or dinner and tell it to her straight.

There is no good time or way to do it - just respect her enough to tell her in person instead of the phone or thru another person.
